Josh F. sent us pictures of the new Assured Performance “Black Powder” exhaust tip on his 2000 BMW 323i 2.5L. I-6. The tip he purchased for his project was part number AC079-BKG.
The tip was purchased from Assured Automotive Company.
Assured Performance Exhaust Tip AC079-BKG is a dual outlet with the outside dimensions of the outlet measuring 3 inches tall and 7.4 inches wide. The length is 9.5 inches. The inlet inside diameter is 2.5 inches.
Judging by the under carriage picture Josh sent us, no modifications were needed for install.
Josh had the exhaust tip welded on and it looks like he did a little bit of trimming on rear valance. Trimming is sometimes required to allow clearance of the exhaust tip exiting the back of the vehicle
